cakes on sticks

Hi!! It's a start of a new week and I feel soo inspired. I am surely guessing where all the days and months have gone. I don't know if I mentioned that I'm off for a month in order to get my right hand back in shape and regain strength which gave me the opportunity to plan things out. And one of those is our son's first birthday. Wow!!!! that time already?? Gosh, poor kid have to go through quite a bit of a bump but he's surely a fighter and a little angel. That's why, me here is planning to get his day more or less perfect. After all it's a celebration of life and even now I still have to look at him for a long time just to convince myself that he belongs to us and how beautiful and precious he is.

Anyway, enough of my maternal gooeyness. I found this new thing called Cake Pops popularized by Bakerella. Whether it's been around for a while, it is certainly a new thing to me. As you have noticed I called my creations Cakes on Sticks. I don't think many Brits know them as when I told my in-laws what I'd be making they all gave me a puzzled look. But they are very delicious and soo moreish..won't be any good for our bulging bellies though. I planned to make different varieties although I haven't figured out the theme. I was thinking The Hundred Acre Wood, The Chocolate Factory or Baby Einstein. mmhhh if you've got an idea feel free to share. Have a lovely week.
