Hello!! At last I finished work this weekend. phew!! I was looking forward to this week as I have taken time off . Yup! Being back at work after resting did me some good and actually a test of how I felt about myself in general and fortunately it turned out ok.
Last few weeks of surfing the net, there were few photos of YJ taken during the making of the book. These photos from the look of it showed the sort of cameras he was using. Whether it was intended to show his precious collection or to make a lowly amateur like me to droll over them, whichever reason it did the trick.
BYJ Gallery made a list of the cameras he used which was good as it helped me with my research. I have written about the Contax, Leica, Hasselblad and Canon before but there were some I missed. To add to his list of high caliber gadgets are the following.
Linhof Technorama 617s III - this must be the King of extreme panoramic experience. The motto of this seemingly spaceship looking camera is : seeing more, showing more. Mhhh why does it reminds of the phrase 'show me the money'? maybe not.
Another camera which I noticed and thought it was another type of Canon is the one he used in the photo below. I am a fan of Canon being an owner on one although mine was the predecessor of Canon DSLR , his was the Canon EOS-1 D . This is part of Canon's top range from 1 D, Mark ll, Mark lll which according to Canon the most powerful camera in the world.
You might have wondered why Yjssi used so many cameras during this trip. I don't actually blame him. Each camera has it's own strong features and varying results. He's lucky to have used them effectively and the result? What the world have known- The Beauty of Korea. .
