Hi there! How have you been? For some reason these last two days resting seem like a weekend to me. As much as I want to I couldn't do a lot these days however there are things that I have to get going. I just realized that the first module I have to submit for my course is quite overdue. And still I have three more photos to find.
So packed with the equipment I had asked my personal driver (a.k.a hubby) to drive me from one town to another. Learning this trade certainly requires patience, endurance, and stamina. Well the last I'm still working on.
I am not very good with technicalities but I truly have to get a grip on how the camera works and get the most of it. To be honest working with different shutter speed to get various effects on the photo is yet a work in progress on my part. But I'm starting to get used to it, I guess.
After finding the right place to photograph, we stayed for an hour to get enough shots.
These are some of the images of the bridge in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. The slowest speed my camera allowed me was 8 seconds which gave the effect in the last photo.
0.8s/f/2.8 ISO 100
5.0s/f/6.3 ISO 80
8s/f/8.0 ISO100

Surreal, that last photo!
Dear Hyds:
Greetings on a warm windy night. I have always admired your photography. This is simply amazing, this play of light and shadow that reminds me of Rembrandt in Amsterdam museum. I also like the windmills in a past posting. It has character.
Congratulations.

Hi Hyds !
Wow....now, where could I get a view like that in here ? Besides, there's that thing about my [lack of] camera :(
The results are fantastic Hyds, and I agree with Josephine...your photos have character. Your patience was not in vain.
You're on your way to be a Pro, imo^^
Love to all of you

Hi, sister HYDS.
I have thought a lot about you these past, few days. I hope you are well. You are very talented, my dear. These are really breath-taking photos. They remind me of beautiful night photos of castles; especially the last one. Very fairytale like. I have no doubt you will be a great photographer; you already are. Lots of luck with your classes. (I have just started mine again, too.) Be safe and well, sister. Love, Anna
Hi gosijo! It's meant to create such illusion..I'm working on it. I'd like to try it on a waterfall.
Hi Josephine! I like to Rembrandt's work too. Thanks for the appreciation. I strive to capture the essence in my photographs.
Love,
hyds
Hello myoce!
Hahaha a long way to go my dear. Don't let the type of camera stops you. I am still saving up for a really good kit as they cost an arm and a leg. Take it easy.
Love loads,
Hyds
Hello Anna!
I am fine, thanks. I am taking it easy with my physical condition. I just have to watch what I'm doing.
Good luck on your work and thank you for the support.
Love,
Hyds
