Italian Treat

Today my hubby and I just thought we'd go out for something to eat. It has been pretty miserable all day and I couldn't bear watching TV or surf the net. A hearty meal was needed to blow some cobwebs away.

I was also looking out for some new trend in shops and noticed the Twilight inspired lines. Remember that top Bella wore in the Biology class with Edward? I lost count on how many of those were in the rails in every shop. Checkereds have also found a special spot and so are the woolen cardigans which I kind of fancy..

It's nice to get some ideas but I'd rather come back on my own..Afterwards we went to our favorite Italian restaurant- Prezzo ..

I like the collection of prints they have on the wall.

Alex ordered his favorite Calamare.

This Genovese Chicken is just right for me.

This one's called Polete Al Forno..


Pizza Vesuvio-double pepperoni sausage, red chilli, mozzarella and tomato.

I had some space for Milk Chocolate Fudge Cake.. mmhhh this one is heavenly. Not too sweet or rich either.


Honeycomb Smash Cheesecake for Alex. I'm not normally a big fan of cheesecakes unless it's Blueberry or a specialty. This one I'd say 3/5 though Alex thinks it's 4/5.

And marinated olives. My favorite too.

I know I'd be eating less tomorrow but this meal was certainly a treat. Although as I got home I found out that the Twilight cast will be in London next month.. It felt like planning a great escape from work is on its way but don't know how to do it.. we'll see ;-)
