The title might be strong but that's just the whole point...Many of us like who we are, the color of our skin, the accent we utter and the country we live in. But not many like to accept their true heritage. That's their prerogative, right?
Now what made me bring this up? I was told that a certain celebrity in England who's Filipino-British didn't mention her Filipino heritage! Great! She mentioned Chinese, Spanish, Austrian, and God knows what else but not Filipino. Me, personally have a Spanish and a tribal Filipino blood. Now, I'm married to a full blooded Englishman whom if proven true is a descendant of Richard de la Pole, who was proclaimed as a true King of England but because of Henry XVIII's claimed to the throne this poor King was killed. Now if you asked me if this correct? I could only tell you if the time comes when I would be blessed with a daughter who will marry a Prince of Wales and her lineage will be checked to find out her true ancestry. As for me, I couldn't be bothered right now. I'd rather stick to the Pole's coat of arms. And take note only if..
Not all of us are comfortable with many things but we should remember to be proud of who we are and where we come from. After all if not for our ancestors we wouldn't become who we think we are now.
I might be having a rant today..but I haven't forgotten our dear Prince.. BYJ. Ohh we miss him a lot these days.. I'm sure you do..

We should be proud of who we are and of our ancestors.
