and there is hope..

Hello there!! I would like to thank all of you who have prayed and thought of us..my apologies for making you worried. Things have been improving 2 weeks after the incident. Hubby might come out tomorrow. He would spend rehabilitation at home with the help from physiotherapist and occupational health therapist.
What happened have certainly changed my perspective in life. If there's anything I learned from this traumatic event that is to value your love ones. Truly appreciate what you've got and stop worrying about tomorrow as today is the most important. Always be grateful, thankful and have faith. Hope you have a lovely weekend ahead.

to live..

It's amazing how life plays tricks on you. A day filled with things to do,excitement for a new project, looking forward to a new adventure in a few weeks time, arranging schedules in mind when finally back to work, trying to slot an hour rush to the grocery, a tender kiss from a loving husband, a beautiful smile from our son wondering how fun the day would turn  out, an early drive to miss the rush hour traffic, a move to pass a slow moving vehicle then BANG!!! All of a sudden things seem to move in the slowest motion. As I lifted my head and turned to my husband on my left who was moaning and pale as snow, Edward grunting at the back, I heard a man and a woman saying "your baby is here, he's fine, don't worry." A man in a blurry yellow ( must be a firefighter) said "it's OK love" pulled me out and everything seem hazy and bright. I thought there's nothing left of the car, no front, no roof. I must have lost consciousness as the trip to hospital seem to have taken a minute. I could feel my left leg soaking wet but no pain just numbness. Next time I remembered I was signing for the surgery and friends on my side talking.. reassuring.
It's been a week since the car crash. I got separated from Alex and Edward as they were airlifted to Nottingham and I taken to the nearby city hospital. Edward was released first despite a fracture in the skull. His Angel was guarding him that day or in my opinion he has been our Angel keeping us all alive. Hubby will take time to recover and mend what's broken and I apart from a laceration on my left leg and a fractured wrist  have to live and remain strong for my love ones and make the most of this second life God has given us.

Garden in bloom

We have visited the in-laws this weekend and had a lovely time. Despite the rain in the afternoon we managed to have a barbecue. This time of the year my mum-in-law's garden is full of summer flowering plants. I just had the opportunity to snap some pics of her colourful garden. Have a lovely week ahead.

an old friend

Hello there!! It's summertime and flowers have come out in force. The time for me to see an old friend-the Hydrangea. When we were out a couple of nights ago I noticed this overgrown Hydrangea in the entrance of Houghton Mill.Right away I thought I must have a picture of it. Most of you know why. It's a constant reminder of how photography got me hooked-the sight of BYJ's Hydrangea. Below is a photo of the one I took and it's a lacecap too. Have a lovely weekend.

Celebration Wine

Photo of BYJ for the Family Mart Celebration Wine campaign.

Hello, I’m Bae Yong Joon
Family Mart’s wish,
‘We would like become a family with you’,
and my wish became one.
Let’s meet at Family Mart, family.

Hello, I’m Bae Yong Joon.
There was a heart-breaking incident in Japan in 2011.
I hope everyone, who is suffering from its damages, will be able to restore them and return to comfortable normal life style as soon as possible. I also wish that everyone remains in good health, and not gives up encouragement and dreams.

It was Bae Yong Joon who sent an encouraging message. We found out that he collaborated with ‘Family Mart’ in Japan to release Birthday Celebration Wine. Limited 3900 bottles of wine, red and white each, will be released because he is going to be 39 years old this year. He himself carefully chose these particular wines.

I’m always part of your family.
Let’s meet at Family Mart, family.
